I made this concept art for my personal folder. This piece was supposed to just be a black and white speed painting. But then I saw that I could make a concept art and play with colours and light. I am pretty happy with it, and of course I could work more on it. Honestly I had enough of working with it. Took me approx 2.5 working days from speedpainting too final piece. Hope you enjoy it C&C are highly welcomed.

O2 (liquid state)

Hi.
I made this character for a personal project i named O2 (oxygen). I have this idée of a story in my mind about a world where all "humans" lived in the water and animals on land.
The evolution had some changes and humans are able to live on land with limited conditions. The amount of oxygen is the same as in the water for fishes to survive are enough for humans to survive and too much oxygen will kill humans. That is why the characters need the mask and equipment containing oxygen in a liquid state to survive and walk on land. The whole idée is still rough I am still working on it. Feel free to comment

Ancient Artic Wat

This is my first attempt on making a Matte painting. I have always admired how many great Matte painters as Dylan Cole, Raphael Lacoste and many more artist create there matte work. On how they are able to take us beholders to a journey, to a world that doesn’t exist with there super realistic Matte paintings. I’m amazed!
and a great fan.

For this Matte painting I used allot of references which I later on ended up doing a paint over because allot of them where references of sunny and dry environments. The stairs on the foreground was a picture taken by my girlfriend a couple of years ago when she was in Macau on vacation, which I also over painted and put grudge textures on and brick textures as ground. 50/50 painting and references. Hope you enjoy my Matte painting and any comments and critics are highly welcomed.

The Postman

I was going through my closet and found some old video tapes and one of them was the postman movie from (1997) and I remembered that I was so inspired by the movie at that time it came out in stores. I watched the movie and got so inspired by it again I just had to create my own version of the character. And here in Sweden we have a concept art challenge, any competitor where to create a main character in a hypothetical game. And this is my submission.

Any comments and critics are highly welcomed.

The princess and her servants

I had a short story in my head that I was going for the story is about a young princess sitting on a elephant and her servants standing on the frontline facing the enemies. The princess is leading the army, a little bit Jeanne d'Arc like, girl leading an army.

I was going for a feeling i had, I wanted the princess to look calm and confident but the servants should look hungry for blood and battle. As I was working on the sketch part I thought this piece would be great if i printed it. So the actual size is w: 4162 /h: 5099 pixels so allot of details will very likely disappear on allowed size. Done in Photoshop cs2 and Painter took me 2½ weeks from sketch to finish. I Hope everybody enjoys this piece! Any crits are most welcomed and appreciated.

be more personal, reflect my roots, to feel Asian and still not. My main
focus was the characters personality without words, just by looking at it.
For this piece I used Photoshop CS2 and took me approx 2 days from concept
visualize a castle that my fellow game designers just could describe with
words. I wanted my concept to give them a story about this ancient castle.
I focused on giving the right dramatic perspective, mood and atmosphere. For
this concept art I used Photoshop CS2 and took me approx 20 hours on and
